The Daintree Rainforest

In the unique lowland rainforest, the Daintree, is a rare survivor of 100 million years of climatic changes. The Daintree rainforest is the oldest surviving rainforest in Earth’s history. Around 166 millimeters of rain falls on the Daintree per year. Located in the the Queensland area of Australia, the Daintree is in the southern hemisphere. Additionally, it is home to hundreds of endangered plant and animal species. The website's goal is to discuss all aspects of the Daintree Rainforest.
